The moment you join the Legacy community, you become a member of a thriving homeowners association that adds value in many ways.
You are a member of the Legacy HOA the moment you close on your beautiful new home. Included in your annual assessment are:

Haley Zapata serves as the General Manager for the Legacy community, bringing a strong blend of professional experience, leadership, and passion for community engagement. She is dedicated to fostering a neighborhood that is well maintained, welcoming, and thriving, and she approaches her role with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to homeowner satisfaction.
Haley is a passionate HOA management professional with three years of experience at FirstService Residential, where she has expanded her knowledge, strengthened her leadership abilities, and developed a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully manage a thriving community. Her background also includes fifteen years of retail management and several years overseeing multifamily properties, giving her a well rounded foundation in operations, customer service, organizational leadership, and team development. She holds educational studies in business and drafting technology, which support her ability to approach community management with both strategic insight and technical understanding.
Known for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and handson approach, Haley is highly skilled in HOA operations, homeowner relations, vendor coordination, amenity and facility management, lifestyle programming, project oversight, and the many moving pieces that contribute to a well run community. She believes exceptional community management is rooted not only in completing tasks, but in building relationships, communicating effectively, solving problems, and creating an environment where residents feel supported, connected, and proud of where they live.

Information and Taxes
Legacy by Hillwood is located within a special district called a MUD, or Municipal Utilities District. This special district was created under the Texas Local Code for cities and counties reimburse developers for the costs for adding and improving infrastructure including utilities and roads. The MUD is an assessment that is collected along with property taxes by the county.
